SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General information
• In order to avoid personal injury and damage to the device from the
outset, we recommend that persons who are not familiar with the device
read these instructions carefully before using it. There is no warranty or
guarantee for damage caused by non-observance.
• As a user, you may be liable to third parties for damage caused by the use
of the device or by the device.
• As the user, you are responsible for compliance with local safety and
installation regulations.

Only authorized workshops and their specialist personnel may repair the
devices. Only original spare parts may be used. If you attempt to repair the
unit yourself, there is no warranty or guarantee.
• If the pump is defective, remove the plug from the socket. If the pump is
still connected to the mains, electric shocks may occur. There is an acute
risk of personal injury and other damage to the unit.
• In case of prolonged standstill or danger of frost, the pump and the hoses
must be dismantled. Carry out a cleaning. It is recommended that the
pump be vented as necessary and rinsed with clear water. Ensure that the
pump is stored dry and protected from frost.
• Never wrap the pump, especially the motor block, with a blanket or cloth
during operation to prevent the water from freezing. Any resulting fire or
damage is not covered by the warranty.
• Frost damage is not covered by the warranty.
• If persons or animals are in the water, the pump must not be operated.

If the mains cable or the plug is damaged due to external influences, the
cable must not be repaired! The cable must be replaced with a new one.
This work must only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
