No short-circuit detection for resistance measurements!
For sensor types “Resistance measurement 1” and “Resistance measurement 2”,
short-circuit detection is not technically possible.
4.3.13.1 Default Format
With the setting “Resistance measurement 1" (0 Ohm to 5.0 kOhm), the I/O
module outputs the measured resistance values of the sensors directly.
The resistance values are displayed at a resolution of 1 digit per 0.2
Ω
in one word
(16-bit). The maximum number range viewable in one word in two's complement
representation ranges from −32768 to +32767. The number range used depends on
the sensor type set and the resolution of the process value. For the setting
“Resistance measurement 1”, the possible numerical range corresponds to the
defined measuring range of 0 Ohm to 5.0 kOhm and ranges from 0 to +25000
accordingly.
