Servicing/ Repairs on the unit

Servicing of the unit should be carried out once annually by
the WAGNER service.
Check high-pressure hoses, unit connection line, plug and

socket for damage.
Check inlet valve, outlet valve, diaphragm and filter for

wear.
Check oil level (fig. 19) in the horizontal set-up.

HIGH-preSSure HOSe
Check high-pressure hose optically for any cuts or bulges in
particular at the connection to the fitting. Union nuts must be
able to be turned freely.

The risk of damage rises with the age of the
high-pressure hose. Wagner recommends re-
placing high-pressure hoses after 6 years.

Switch off unit.

11.1
Inlet vAlve (fIG. 20)
Place accompanying spanner 36 mm on the inlet valve

housing (1).
Release inlet valve housing with light blows of the hammer

on the end of the spanner.
Screw out inlet valve housing with the inlet valve (2) from
3.
the paint section.
Remove clasp (3) by means of a screwdriver.
4.
Place accompanying spanner 30 mm on the inlet valve (2).
5.
Withdraw carefully turning the inlet valve.
Clean valve seat (4) with cleaning agent and brush.
6.
Clean seals (5, 6) and check for damage, replace if
7.
necessary.
If there are traces of wear in the valve seat, replace inlet

valve.

Mounting
Insert inlet valve (2) into the inlet valve housing (1) and

secure with clasp (3).
Screw unit from inlet valve housing and inlet valve into the

paint section.
Tighten inlet valve housing with spanner 36 mm and tighten

with three light blows of the hammer on the end of the
spanner.

Outlet vAlve (fIG. 21)
Screw out outlet valve with spanner 22 mm from the
1.
paint section.

Achtung
Remove clasp (1) carefully with screwdriver,
pressure spring (2) presses parts out 3 to 4.
Clean or replace individual parts.
3.
Check O-ring (6) for damage.
4.
Pay attention to installation position in mounting spring
5.
support ring (3), outlet valve seat (4) and seal ring (5).
