5.5 Adjusting the Stereo Microscope

The microscope offers a stereoscopic view of all surgical simulations. You can adjust
diopter settings, inclination, and pupil distance.

CAUTION

Risk of injury or damage to simulator

If the bayonet lock of the microscope (

Fig. 35 on page 42) is opened, the

eyepieces can fall off and cause injury or damage to the simulator.

Do not open the bayonet lock when adjusting the microscope.

Adjusting the microscope:

To ensure a 20/20 vision and fused stereo images, please adapt the diopter
settings of the eyepieces and the pupil distance.

For an optimal ergonomic position, adjust the inclination of the microscope.
