Do not place any objects between infrared LEDs and optical tracking unit.
Info Take short breaks at regular intervals
Examining the virtual patient can get tiring after a while. If your eyes get tired,
or if you feel any other signs of fatigue or discomfort, stop training. Only re-
sume training when any signs of fatigue or discomfort have disappeared.
5.8 Switching the Simulator Off
NOTICE
Possible software errors through wrong shutdown
It is possible to shut down the simulator using the power button on the simula-
tor PC. However, this may compromise the simulator’s data saving and soft-
ware updating routine.
f Do not use the simulator PC’s power button.

To switch off the simulator, press the power button on the table control
panel (

Logging out and switching off the simulator:
1. When you are finished, log out by tapping the Logout button.
2. To switch off the simulator, press the power button on the table control panel
(

The simulator starts to shut down.

Do not disconnect the simulator from the power supply until fully shut down.
Normally, it is not necessary to disconnect the power supply at all.
