Placing the protective cover on the main slit lamp axis:

1.

Take the disk-shaped protective cover out of the slit lamp packaging.

2.

Place the protective cover on the main slit lamp axis (

Fig. 8 on page 23).

No fastening is required.

4.2.3 Stereo Microscope

Attaching the stereo microscope to the slit lamp:

1.

Take the stereo microscope out of its packaging.

Carefully lower it on the slit lamp arm (

metal pin of the microscope enters the hole vertically to avoid jamming.
