Maintenance and cleaning
Blow loose dirt particles from the IR lens (12). Brush off any remai-
ning dirt using a fine lens brush. Wipe the surface of the device with
a slightly damp cloth. Only use water to moisten the cloth. Do not
use chemicals or cleaning agents when cleaning.
Replacing the battery
pound battery type 006P, or similar types
such as IEC6F22 and NEDA1604. If the
voltage drops below the required value,
the LCD display indicates the symbol for
flat batteries „Low Bat“ (23). When this
occurs, you should change the battery.
Proceed as follows to replace the battery:
- Open the battery compartment (5) by fol-
ding the out lid of the battery compart-
ment away from the handle, as shown in
the illustration.
- Replace the battery with a new one of
the same type, and fold the lid of the
battery compartment back onto the
handle.
Do not leave flat batteries in the measuring device. Even
batteries protected against leaking can corrode and
release chemicals which may be detrimental to your
health or which may damage the device.
