WIRING DIAGRAMS
8.1
EXTERNAL WIRING
The appliance comes with a factory fitted clock to
allow basic operation of the boiler (fig. 38). If
external controls are to be added to the system,
they must be connected to the appliance as
shown in the following diagrams. For advice on
controls that are not featured in this book, please
contact the Service & Technical Helpline on
0870-264-1220.
8.2
TYPICAL CONTROL APPLICATIONS
The appliance can be used with the following
controls:

external single-channel, voltage-free time clocks
●
programmable room thermostats.
In addition, the appliance can be used in con-
junction with a typical ‘S’-Plan system, please
contact the technical help line (0870 264 1220)
for further detailed instruction.
NOTE
This appliance is not suitable for use with ‘Y’-Plan
systems.

8.3
ROOM THERMOSTAT
Should a room thermostat be required, it must be
of the ‘voltage-free’ type, and should be con-
nected to the appliance as shown in fig. 39.
8.4
OTHER CONTROLS
Contact the controls manufacturer and/or the
technical help line should you require more spe-
cific information on the suitability of a particular
control.
