6.2 Parameter settings
NOTICE
 Due to unintentional maladjustment of the parameters, replacement of
individual assemblies as well as extraordinary operating conditions, one or
several parameters may have to be readjusted. We recommend documenting
the adjustment of the parameters as well as the set values.
■
The parameters of the way valve are adjusted on potentiometers X0, X1, KPD,
KPU, FM and SF.
NOTICE
 Potentiometers X0, X1, KPU and KPD are arranged on the operator's end of
the VRM. They are secured against unintentional maladjustment by a cap.
 It is necessary to readjust potentiometers KPU, KPD, SF and FM if changed
boundary conditions, such as nominal pressure, nominal stroke and operating
temperature, differ considerably from those indicated in the test report.
 The position of the potentiometers is illustrated in Fig. 10. These have been
preset at the factory. In order to be able to get to potentiometers SF and FM,
loosen 2 hexagon socket screws on the cover and remove the latter.
 Potentiometers SF and FM may only be adjusted upon prior consultation with
Voith Turbo GmbH & Co. KG, Crailsheim.
