NOTICE
Should the actual value remote indication increase permanently, i.e. higher
than 4 mA when adjusting the potentiometer X0 counterclockwise, the lower
mechanical stop (on valve adjustment usually the valve seat) is reached and
the regulating range exceeded. In order to reach the "closed position" of a
valve safely at a setpoint of 4 mA, even at thermal linear expansion or drifting
of a signal, the stroke may also be adjusted at a setpoint of e.g. 4.5 mA.
Effective direction of X0:
The piston moves towards 100 % by turning the potentiometer clockwise.
Setting of X1
Set the 100% position at a setpoint input of w = 20.0 mA.
Set the X1 potentiometer so that the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder moves to its
desired 100% position (e.g. upper mechanical stop of valve).
NOTICE
Should the actual value remote indication increase permanently, i.e. less than
4 mA when adjusting potentiometer X1 clockwise, the upper mechanical stop
is reached and the regulating range exceeded.
Effective direction of X1:
The piston moves towards 100 % by turning the potentiometer clockwise.
Additionally required equipment and/or measuring instruments:
Setpoint transmitter:
0...20 mA, resolution 0.01 mA, accuracy 0.1 %, to be connected between terminal
4 and terminal 6 (see Chapter 10).
Dial gauge:
Resolution 0.01 mm, accuracy
≤
5/100 of full scale, to be attached to the piston
rod.
Ammeter:
0...20 mA for actual value indication, to be connected between terminal 5 and
terminal 7 (see Chapter 10).
Voltmeter:
0...30 V DC to measure the 24 V DC supply, to be connected between terminal 1
and terminal 2 (see Chapter 10).
0…30 V DC for measuring the 24 V DC control, to be connected between terminal
9 and terminal 7 (see Chapter 10).
