6.2.2 Setting of X0 and X1 potentiometers

With potentiometers X0 and X1, an effective stroke of the piston from a hydraulic
cylinder can be allocated to setpoint 4..20 mA.
Thus, the 0 % position and 100 % position of the piston rod to the respective
requirements of the application can easily be adapted (also refer to Chapter 2).
NOTICE
 Set X0 before setting X
1
. X0 influences the setting of X1.
The regulating ranges of the potentiometers are defined differently:
Adjusting range X0: approx. 0…10%
Adjusting range X1: approx. 50…100%
The data refer to the falling signal of the position feedback 20mA...4mA ~ 0..100 %
stroke.
Setting of X0
Set the 0% position at a setpoint input of w = 4.0 mA.
Set the X0 potentiometer so that the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder moves to its
desired 0% position (e.g. mechanical stop of valve). If a measuring device is available,
adjust the dial gauge to x = 0 mm.
