Recommended fastening bolts

4 M12 hex. bolts, EN ISO 4762

Property class 10.9

Minimum tightening torque M
A
= 88 Nm, thread oil-moistened (µr=0.08)

Select the bolt length according to the installation situation.

If the property class of the bolt deviates from the proposed one, select the
corresponding, suitable tightening torque.
5.3 Hydraulic connection
CAUTION
 Wear safety goggles when connecting the way valve hydraulically.
 Pay attention to the correct pressure stage when selecting pipes, flexible
tubes, unions and flanges.
 Immediately replace any damaged pipes and flexible tubes.
NOTICE

Residual oil may leak out when removing the screw plugs or plugs. Collect the
oil in a suitable container/catch pan and dispose of it properly.
 Do not use fibrous or hardening sealing compounds, such as hemp or mastic,
for sealing the connections and pipe unions.
When assembling the pipes, ensure that they are not fastened to any moving
equipment, but rather to fixed structures free from vibrations.
Alterations in length caused by temperature variations must not apply
constraining forces to the way valve.
NOTICE
 Prior to installation, clean pipes from dirt, scales, sand, chips, etc.
 Pickle welded pipes. Thoroughly clean and flush the pipes and the whole
hydraulic system before installing the way valve.
