4 Data Logging
4. Data Logging
The RTK-Pro has an internal memory to store locator data. (Or if activated, can be sent to the “cloud”) The available storage
size is four gigabytes, which relates to many thousands of records.
The user records the records whenever the “+” button is pressed while in the “Information” screen.
Data can be stored relating to a standard locate or relating to any of the receiver accessories. (apart from the Remote antenna
accessory).
Each time the self-test routine is run or a Warning or Alarm goes off the results are automatically recorded in the equipment with
no user input.
To store a record first, locate a point of interest. There will be an extra step to perform when taking readings recorded in the
log or sent to the cloud. The locator can provide cm mapping accuracy. For technical reasons, the GNSS antenna is positioned
slightly ahead of the locator. This displacement is compensated for by tilting the locator backward until the antennas are
vertically aligned.

4.1 How to Create Data Logs
Procedure to log a point
1. Locate the line in the usual way
2. Press the Info key, and the screen to the right will appear.
3. Press the “+” key to log the data. The log number will increase, indicating that the
data log was stored.

4. After the data log is accepted, a new screen with a digital spirit level is shown.
To record the RTK information, tilt back the locator until the bubble is centralized
in the spirit level.
(Otherwise, press the Info key to go back to the locate screen)
