Genlock
The Settings>Decoder>Genlock tab specifies the decoder synchronisation
settings to be used.
An external or internal analog signal can be used as a timing reference signal
to synchronise all received video input signals to allow easy switching from one
source to another without disruption. To do this, input signals must be
“genlocked” (generator locked) to a reference. Typically, a video signal which
does not have picture information on it is used.

The Genlock tab specifies the mode for generator locking/synchronisation:
Decoder Genlock Settings
Genlock Mode – enables genlock to be set as Off, External or Internal.
When External is selected, line and pixel adjustment parameters are displayed.

to be used.
