WAN/LAN - Control
Standard 10/100/1000 Ethernet connections are provided for control of the unit
using Web Browser (HTTP) and Network Management (SNMP).
If required, use the internal web browser link to download a copy of the units
SNMP MIB (Management Information Base). To ensure that the version relevant
to the current code release is used, always use the SNMP MIB link as the
reference for any SNMP application.
To configure the unit via the web page, see
Section 7.5 Accessing the Web GUI
for instructions on how to connect to the receiver and use the web browser.
LAN/LAN (PoE) – Video Over IP
Standard 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection for streaming encapsulated
Transport Streams into and out of the unit. Only UDP encapsulation is
supported.
LAN ports may also be used for control of the unit using the Web Browser
(HTTP) and Network Management (SNMP).
**Check Availability. Power over Internet (PoE) ports is a technology for wired
Ethernet local area networks (LANs) that allows the electrical current necessary
for the operation of each device to be carried by the data cables rather than by
power cords.
