To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.

Ceramic top removal
1. Acess control components (see Control
Components Accessed).
2. Remove control panel by disconnecting all
quick disconnect connections and set control
panel aside to prevent any possible damage.
3. Remove two front screws shown below in
photos.
4. Slide the top forward about two inches to
release tabs that are underneath shoulder
screws. Lift top off of unit and place aside in a
protected area to prevent any damage.

5. Reverse procedure for install.
Element Removal
1. Remove ceramic top assembly, (see Ceramic
top removal).
2. Remove faulty element by releasing tabs on
bottom of element.
3. Remove one wire at a time, transferring the
wires to the new element as they are removed
from the faulty element.

4. Reverse procedure for install.
