1.2 Installation Tips
This unit can be installed freestanding or built-in. The front of the unit must be unobstructed

for proper air circulation and operation at all times
Area should be ventilated and without extreme temperatures.
2)
Unit must be installed indoors and away from the elements of nature. This unit is not U.L. 3)
approved for outdoor installation. If installed against these recommendations the warranty
will be void.
Unit must be installed on a level surface capable of supporting the loaded weight of the unit
4)
plus its contents.
If unit is installed freestanding insure that power cord is not in a position for tripping over or
5)
accidental pulling.
Make sure that door is aligned at a right angle to cabinet top and securely fastened to hinge
6)
assembly.
Insure that door is properly closed and making contact with reed switch on the user interface
7)
control. The display will “black out” when the door is closed properly.
Check to insure that unit is cooling after installation is complete.
8)
Familiarize the customer with the product after installation is complete. Make sure they 9)
understand the functions of the control panel.
1.3 Electrical Requirements
Supply voltage to the unit is 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 1 phase. 1)
Power receptacle should be fed through a 15 amp, delayed action fuse or circuit breaker. 2) Do
not fuse the neutral or ground side of the circuit.
This unit requires the use of a grounded outlet. 3)
It is recommended that a single circuit receptacle be used for this unit only. 4) Do not use an
extension cord with this product.
