LABEL DESCRIPTION
Active Select this to activate the SSID profile.
Name (SSID) The SSID (Service Set Identifier) identifies the Service Set with which a wireless client is
associated. Enter a descriptive name (up to 32 printable characters found on a typical
English language keyboard) for the wireless LAN.
Hide SSID Select this check box to hide the SSID in the outgoing beacon frame so a station cannot
obtain the SSID by scanning with a site survey tool.
Intra-BSS Traffic A Basic Service Set (BSS) exists when all communications between wireless clients or
between a wireless client and a wired network client go through one access point (AP).
Intra-BSS traffic is traffic between wireless clients in the BSS. When Intra-BSS is enabled,
wireless clients can access the wired network and communicate with each other. When
Intra-BSS is disabled, wireless clients can still access the wired network but cannot
communicate with each other.
WMM QoS Check this to have the EMG2926-Q10A automatically assign a priority level to a service
according to the ToS value in the IP header of packets it sends.
WMM QoS (Wifi MultiMedia Quality of Service) gives high priority to voice and video, which
makes them run more smoothly.
Enable Guest
WLAN Select the check box to activate guest wireless LAN. This is available only for the last SSID
on the EMG2926-Q10A.
Click the Guest Network Bandwidth Management link to go to the LAN > Advanced
screen, where you can specify the maximum bandwidth for the guest networks.
The guest LAN and guest WLAN on the EMG2926-Q10A share the same routing domain
(192.168.200.0/24) and bandwidth.
