The following table describes the labels on this screen.

Internet
Connection Type
Select the
IPoE
(IP over Ethernet) option when the WAN port is used as a regular
Ethernet.
Select the
PPPoE
(Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) option for a dial-up connection.
The following fields are available if you select
IPoE
.
Obtain an IP
Address
Automatically
Select this radio button if your ISP did not assign you a fixed IP address.
Static IP Address Select this radio button if your ISP assigned an IP address for your Internet connection.
IP Address
Enter the IP address provided by your ISP.
Subnet Mask
Enter the IP subnet mask in this field.
Gateway IP
Address
Enter the gateway IP address in this field.
The following fields are available if you select
PPPoE
.
Get
automatically
from ISP
Select this radio button if your ISP did not assign you a fixed IP address.
Use Fixed IP
Address
Select this radio button to give the EMG2926-Q10A a fixed, unique IP address.
PPP Username
Type the user name given to you by your ISP.
PPP Password
Type the password associated with the user name above.
My WAN IP
Address
Type the name of your service provider.
Cancel
Click
Cancel
to close this screen.
Apply
Click
Apply
to save your changes back to the EMG2926-Q10A.
