If the problem continues, contact the vendor.

27.3 EMG2926-Q10A Access and Login

I don’t know the IP address of my EMG2926-Q10A.

The default IP address of the EMG2926-Q10A in

Router Mode

192.168.0.1

. The default IP

address of the EMG2926-Q10A in

Access Point Mode

192.168.0.2

If you changed the IP address and have forgotten it, you may be able to get the IP address of the
EMG2926-Q10A in

Router Mode

by looking up the IP address of the default gateway for your

computer. To do this in most Windows computers, click

Start > Run

, enter

cmd

, and then enter

ipconfig

. The IP address of the

Default Gateway

might be the IP address of the EMG2926-Q10A

(depending on the network), so enter this IP address in your Internet browser.

If your EMG2926-Q10A in

Access Point Mode

is a DHCP client, you can obtain your IP address

from the DHCP server. This information is only available from the DHCP server that allocates IP
addresses on your network. Find this information directly on the DHCP server, or contact your
system administrator for more information.

Reset your EMG2926-Q10A to change all settings back to their defaults. This means your current
settings will be lost. See

Section 27.5 on page 176

Troubleshooting

for information on

resetting your EMG2926-Q10A.

I forgot the password.

The default password is an empty string.

If this does not work, you will have to reset the device to its factory defaults. See

Section 27.5 on

page 176
