9.3 Wireless Security
The screen varies depending on what you select in the Security Mode field.
9.3.1 No Security
Select No Security to allow wireless clients to communicate with the access points without any
data encryption.
Note: If you do not enable any wireless security on your EMG2926-Q10A, your network is
accessible to any wireless networking device that is within range.

Security Mode
Note: If the WPS function is enabled (default), only No Security and WPA2-PSK are
available in this field.
Select Static WEP , WPA-PSK , WPA , WPA2-PSK or WPA2 to add security on this
wireless network. Wireless clients that want to associate to this network must have
same wireless security settings as this device. After you select a security mode,
additional options will appear on this screen. See
Section 9.3 on page 80 for detailed
information on different security modes. Alternatively, you can select No Security to
allow any client to associate this network without authentication.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes to the EMG2926-Q10A.
Cancel Click Cancel to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
