30. If mower blade strikes a foreign object, release the OPERATOR PRESENCE CONTROL
LEVER immediately. Wait for the blade to stop rotating. Remove the SAFETY KEY. Inspect
for any damage. Any damage to the blade or mower must be repaired before operating
the mower again. Have the damage inspected and repaired by an Authorised Service
Centre.
31.
Always turn mower off when crossing driveways, roads, walk ways and other non- grass
areas, especially areas covered with gravel.
32. Always turn the mower off and remove the SAFETY KEY if you must leave the mower
unattended, even if only for a short time.
33. Never cut grass by pulling the mower towards you (ie: backwards). It is designed to be
pushed forward while cutting only. USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN YOU MUST BACK
UP, and do so only after first releasing the OPERATOR PRESENCE CONTROL LEVER and
after the blade has stopped rotating. When backing up, move SLOWLY and maintain good
footing.
34. When cutting grass on slopes ALWAYS MOW ACROSS THE FACE OF THE SLOPE, never
straight up and down. USE EXTREME CAUTION and move slowly when using the mower
on uneven terrain.
35.
Do not use the mower if it starts to vibrate abnormally or if it generates unusual noise.
Remove the SAFETY KEY and check for the cause before operating the mower again.
(see elsewhere in this manual for instructions on mounting the blade, batteries and housing
etc. See also TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE section.) Have any necessary adjustments or
repairs made by an Authorised Service Centre
36. Allow motor to cool for at least 5 minutes before storing the mower in any type of tight
space enclosure
37. Make a habit of cleaning the blade, the discharge chute and the underside of the deck after
each use. Follow the safety precautions at all times when cleaning the mower
38. Do not attempt to over-ride the functions of the safety controls on this mower. Any attempts
to over ride the function of these controls could result in serious personal injury. Never try to
circumvent the safety feature of the OPERATOR PRESENCE CONTROL LEVER by taping
or tying it to the handle. It should only be squeezed towards the handle by your hands
while you have the mower under your direct control.
39. Never operate the mower without proper guards, plates or other safety protection devices
properly installed.
40. When servicing or repairing your mower, use only original EnvirOmower replacement parts
from an Authorised Service Centre. Use only original EnvirOmower blades.
41. Close Supervision is necessary when your equipment is being used near children or infirm
persons.
42. Young children or infirm persons should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the charger.
