Getting Started
Start Button
The start button is used to start the motor.
Operator Presence Control Lever
The operator presence control lever is a safety feature. (Fig.12) When the lever is engaged
the motor will run and the blade will spin. When the lever is released, the motor will shut off
and the blade will stop spinning within 3 seconds.
Battery Status Light
The status indicator light located on the upper handlebar (Figure 12), illuminates when a
battery is installed and the safety key is fitted. (The light is GREEN in colour)
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN INDICATOR OF BATTERY CHARGE.
Optional Attachment/Auxiliary Control Switch
The switch controls optional attachments to the mower, which are sold separately.
Optional Attachment Inserts
Optional attachment is inserted into these points.
Safety Key
The safety key must be inserted to run the
motor, as it has a built-in circuit to protect
the motor.
When the built-in circuit breaker is
tripped, the white button on top of the
safety key will pop up.
Before attempting to restart, push the white
button all the way down until it locks in place.
Any time the circuit is tripped you’ll need
to reset the white button on the safety key.
There is no replacement fuse inside the safety
key. The safety key can be inserted either
way, there is no front or back. (Figure 13)

BATTERY MUST BE RECHARGED AFTER EACH USE!
A battery will last longer if charged as soon as it is used.
DO NOT DISCHARGE COMPLETELY AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE BATTERY!
