INSTRUCTIONS

Preparing Mower for Operation 

Cutting Height Adjustment Lever. 

REMINDER:

  The safety key, with its built-in circuit breaker, should never be inserted during 

assembly, adjustments, cleaning, blade replacement, or when the mower is not in use. 

 

Removing the safety key will prevent accidental starting and help avoid serious personal 
injury. 

The cutting height adjustment lever is located near the left rear wheel. (Fig 14) 

1.   Remove safety key 

2.   Make sure the mower is stable  

3.   The height adjustment lever is spring loaded.   

4.   Pull the lever outward (toward the wheel) and out of its position notch.  

5.   Move the lever to desired notch. 

The lever may be placed in one of six cutting height positions:
