STEP FIVE
• Slice pork into ¼ inch slices. Overlap slices on serving platter. Spoon on warm sauce.
ALL AMERICAN MEAT LOAF
! Remember to preheat the convection oven to 250°C for 6 minutes before following recipe cooking temperature.
Makes 4 servings
Cooking time: 50 minutes
1 ¼ pounds ground beef or meat loaf mixture
1 slice bread, made into crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
¼ cup low fat sour cream or plain yogurt
¼ cup tomato juice or vegetable juice
¼ cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon thyme
1 tablespoon bottled steak sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
STEP ONE
• In a large bowl combine egg, bread crumbs, sour cream, tomato juice, steak sauce onions and herbs. Add ground meat and
mix well. Shape meat mixture into a loaf measuring 7х3 inches.
STEP TWO
• Place wire rack into glass bowl of oven. Reduce heat to 180°C. Place loaf directly on rack.
• Bake for 45-50 minutes. Serve with your favorite sauce.
