Using the double 

dowel pins

Double dowel pins are used to connect components securely in many 
places on the machine. Insert the double dowel pins as follows:

Insert the outer sleeve of the double dowel pin (1) into the fastening 
hole.

Twist the inner sleeve of the double dowel pin by at least 90° and 
slide it into the outer sleeve.

Push both sleeves fully into the fastening hole.

Use the dowel pins correctly

Always ensure that the dowel pins have been inserted correctly. 
Dowel pins that have not been inserted correctly can become 
loose. Damage to the machine and serious or fatal injury may be 
caused as a result.
