Checking the wheel 

swing brake

The braking force of the wheel swing brakes influences the trailing 
behaviour of the running wheels. If the machine does not run smoothly 
during road transport, the wheel swing brake requires readjustment.

All wheel swing brakes must be adjusted to the same force. The braking 
force can be checked using a spring balance.

Adjust the wheel swing brakes to 50 - 70 N (12 - 16 lbf) using a 
spring balance.

Lubricating the wheel 

swing brake

The wheel swing brake has a grease fitting. 

Lubricate the wheel swing brake after assembly with a grease gun.
