·
The
Gigabit Ethernet port
can operate at 100 or 1,000 Mbps. The port
supports auto-negotiation, full duplex, and flow control. It also supports auto
MDX operation to eliminate any requirements for crossover network cables.
·
The front panel has four
BNC input connectors
that support various analog
input devices. Each input supports ±1V peak, ±10V peak, and ±20V peak
input ranges. Each input also supports single ended, differential, and capacitor
coupled operation, IEPE transducers, and smart transducers (TEDS).
·
The rear panel has two
BNC output connectors
that support various analog
drive devices. The DRIVE output is typically used to drive an amplifier or servo-
hydraulic controller. The COLA/AUX output is typically used to support
synchronization with constant level adapter (COLA) devices such as
stroboscopes or data acquisition devices. It can also be used for a second
amplifier output to support differential mode outputs or devices with multiple
axes.
·
The rear panel has an
interbox port
for loop synchronization of multiple
VR9500 units. Loop synchronization can be completed with hardware or
software clocks. Hardware clocks via interbox connection are only
recommended for systems with more than 40 input channels.
·
The rear panel has an
AUX inputs/outputs DB37 connector
that supports
eight digital outputs and eight analog/digital inputs. It can be used to integrate
with other systems or monitor analog signals.
System Ventilation Fan
The VR9500 has one fan for system ventilation. Make sure the fan and vent
openings remain unobstructed to allow for proper airflow.
