Launching a reflectometry test and displaying results

Performing OTDR acquisitions

User Manual

At the end of the acquisition, a beep is emitted, and the measurements are displayed, in
SmartLink view, with a dialog box indicating the pass or fail verdict.

Performing an acquisition with Expert OTDR

In this mode, the equipment carries out a number of averagings defined as a function of
the maximum acquisition time specified in the Acquisition menu, and then terminates the
acquisition.

The acquisition is carried out with the parameters previously selected in the

Setup

menu. It may be stopped at any time using the

key.
