VENOUS STAT Function 

This function is used to easily find a patient’s vein by controlling the flow of the vein by maintaining 

constant pressure to the cuff. 

 

1 

 

Press the Menu button once and select, NIBP 

 

PRESSURE 

 VENOUS STAT and set the pressure 

value. 

2 

To exit the VENOUS STAT mode, press NIBP. 

 

 

Caution

 

  The VENOUS STAT function is only for patients whose veins are difficult to find. Avoid 

using this function for normal patients. 

  After using the VENOUS STAT function, set to AUTO or MANUAL for measurement. 

 

 

Note

 

  VENOUS STAT controls flow of the vein for 170 seconds for VET_ Large, and 85 

seconds for VET_Small. 

  VENOUS STAT is able to be set to between 50 – 200 mmHg (5mmHg unit). The default 

setting is 100 mmHg.
