7.4 Terminal Wall Mount
7.4.1 LDP-7000/9000/9200 series Wall Mount
LDP-7000/9000/9200 series phones can be mounted on the wall using the appropriate
Wall Mount Kit. The Wall Mount Kit is installed as described below. A separate Wall Mount
kit, available from Ericsson-LG Enterprise, is required for the LDP-7000 series phones.
1. Using the appropriate Wall Bracket, mark and drill two (2) 7 mm holes for the plastic
wall anchors provided.
2. Insert the two (2) anchors into the holes and insert and tighten the 2 screws leaving
about 6 mm (¼-inch) exposed.
3. Connect one end of a short cable terminated in RJ11 to the LDP-7000 series Phone,
respectively, and then connect the other end in a wall jack.
4. Mount the Wall Mount bracket on the phone.
5. Slide the Wall Mount bracket over the screws, if loose, tighten the screws slightly
and mount the Wall Mount bracket again.
6. Insert the Wall Mount handset hook to prevent the handset from slipping when wall
mounted.
7.4.2 LIP-8000/8000E Wall Mount
LIP-8000/8000E series phones incorporate wall mount into the base of the phone housing.
Using the instructions, mount LIP-8000/8000E series phone on the wall. An LIP phone with
Consoles can be Wall Mounted after the Console is properly connected to the LIP phone,
refer to section 7.3.4.
1. Using Figure 7.4.2-1 Mark and drill two (2) 7mm holes for plastic wall anchors.
2. Insert the two (2) anchors into the holes and insert and tighten the 2 screws leaving
about 2.5 mm (1/8-inch) exposed. If installing an LIP phone with a Console, also drill
anchor holes and insert and tighten screws for the Console Wall Mount slots.
3. Slide the LIP-8000E phone over the screws and assure the phone is secure. It may
be necessary to remove the phone and tighten or loosen the screws for a secure
mounting.
4. Remove the Handset hook from the phone as shown in the figures below. Reverse
the hook and re-install in the LIP-8000E phone so that the hook catches the groove
in the handset receiver.
