Troubleshooting - daily use

Problem

Checklist

Is there an acoustic alarm when a button on the hand control is activated?

Reset the system by simultaneously pressing the

and

buttons

on

the hand control. You will hear 10 rhythmic beeps. Press and hold the but-
tons until the beeping stops.

VENDLET Basic does not work

Is the control unit connected to 230V outlet and is the power on?

Is the green diode on the control unit illuminated?

Are all plugs properly connected on the control unit?

Is the green diode on the hand control illuminated?

Double-click the

button to activate the system.

One of the bars does not work

Are all plugs properly connected on the control unit?

Is the cable to the bar intact?

One or both bars do(es) not turn when the client is lying in bed

Is the turning sheet running under the bars?

The sheet must be over the bars.

Are all plugs properly connected on the control unit?

The hand control buttons are not working

Are all plugs properly connected on the control unit?

Double-click the

button to activate the system.

Is the correct hand control used? The VENDLET Basic only works with the
VENDLET Basic hand control (see page 8).

One of the bars will only turn in one direction

Are all plugs properly connected on the control unit?

Is the cable to the bar intact?

Contact a person with relevant training, your distributor or

Vendlet if the above does not solve the problem.
