Notes on operating instructions

The following reading aids are used to simplify these operating instructions:

Any inappropriate use of the device may

expose the user to invisible laser rays which exceed
the limits for Class 1 laser products.

Theft protection

The system has the following safety functions to prevent theft:

Removable operating panel

The system has a removable operating panel to prevent theft.

Take the removable operating panel with you, whenever you leave the vehicle.

☞

Keep the panel in its protective case.

☞

Always replace the operating panel before driving off.

If the front is open the device will automatically switch to mute after a certain pe-
riod of time.

■

Anti-theft protection indicator

When the navigation radio is switched off and the ignition key is removed, the CD
eject button flashes.
