The air filter is located between the vacuum nozzle and
vacuum pump, storing any foreign objects accidentally
taken in though the nozzle inside the filter cup. Be sure
to check and clean the filter cup everyday before
starting the operation.
Clogging in the filter element can decrease vacuuming
ability and also cause discrepancy between the actual
vacuum level inside the bag and vacuum level indicated
by the vacuum gauge.
Although it depends on the packaging content and
frequency of use, clean the filter element by blowing
compressed air once a week to remove clogging.
■
Removing the filter cup and filter element
1
Slide the rock button down and rotate the filter
cup to either right or left 45 degrees. The filter
cup is detached from the body.
2
Rotate the deflector to either right or left 45
degrees and pull it out to remove from the filter
cup.
3
Hold the deflector with your hand and rotate the
baffle clockwise to remove it from the deflector.
Now the filter element is detached.
■
Attaching the filter cup and filter element
4
Attach the filter element to the deflector, and set
the baffle in the position. Rotate the baffle
counterclockwise to fix it.

cup. Rotate the deflector to either right or left
45 degrees to fix it.

assembly is rotated until the filter cup assembly

Caution
If any liquid is sucked through a vacuum
nozzle, it goes inside the vacuum pump
through the filter element (filter) and damage
the pump. Do NOT vacuum liquid through the
nozzle. The filter element is not effective in
catching any form of liquid, vapor, as well as
small particles.
