[Replace when] The heating element breaks often, the
seal becomes messy, etc.
1 Remove the center-dry tape and heating
element as described in their respective
replacement instructions.
2 Completely remove the glass tape and the
Sarcon sheet from under the I-heating element.

Adhere the new Sarcon sheet to the lever. The
length of the Sarcon sheet shall be 2mm longer
than the lever on left and right sides.
4 Using scissors, cut the new glass tape in a
length 10mm longer than the length of the lever
(5mm each to the left and right), and adhere it
over the Sarcon Sheet. Make sure both ends
covers the electrodes about 5mm.
5 Fold the glass tape along both edges so that the
excess tape over the lever adheres to the sides
of the clamping lever.
The glass tape and Sarcon Sheet are sold individually.

Adhere the glass tape over the Sarcon Sheet.
Fold along both edges and adhere to the sides
of the clamping lever.

Caution
If the glass tape and/or Sarcon sheet is
damaged, it may result in bad sealing or
defective insulation of heating element.
Replace the glass sheet and Sarcon sheet as
well when replacing the heating element.
Attention
Applying the Sarcon sheet and glass tape to a
surface with adhesive residues will negatively
affect the sealing surface.
Attention
When replacing the glass tape, replace the
Sarcon sheet as well if the adhesion has
become weak.
