[Replace when] When the center-dry tape is breaks,
burns, or when the seal becomes
messy, etc.
[Essential tools] Scissors, flathead screwdriver
Replace the center-dry tape adhered to the pressure
lever (upper lever) to the new one.
1 Lift up the frame cover.

As in the right illustration, remove E-rings
using a flathead screwdriver as well as the pins.
3 Now you can lift the pressure lever to push it
over to the other side. Remove a sponge rubber
from the holder.

Remove the damaged center-dry tape.
As in the right illustration, insert the edge of
new center-dry tape between the pressure lever
and sponge holder. Adhesive side of the center-
dry tape must face toward the pressure lever.
Adhere one side of center-dry tape’s adhesive
part to the pressure lever.

Attention
The center-dry tape may get vertical
line as sealing repeatedly, but it does
not affect seal result.
Attention
When it is hard to adhere the center-dry tape
to the pressure lever, use a thin plate such as
a ruler and slide it between the pressure lever
and sponge holder so the adhesive part of
center-dry tape adheres to the pressure lever.
