Phenomenon
Reason
The cutting depth is different on media
and somewhere cutting through the
backing paper and somewhere top label
paper is not cut well.
1. The depth of knife tip can be too deep. Adjust the depth of
knife tip to 2/3 thickness of media. Be sure not to cut the
backing paper even when using high pressure, and then
adjust the knife pressure to ensure that the paper can be
engraved in all positions.
2. Bottom rubber plate may not be even or worn out. Replace
the rubber plate.
3. Knife holder may hot secure the blade rigidly. Replace the
knife holder.
The corner of label is warping or cutting
result is not smooth.
1. The depth of knife tip can be too deep. Please adjust as
required.
2. The blade can be worn out. Please replace the knife.
Label shape is not correct and not
completely closed.
1. Check the pressure of cutting knife holder and depth of
knife tip.
2. Check if flat-bed is dirty or any obstacles on the bed.
3. Check if the XY direction belt too tight. Or if gears of motor
shaft are loosened, which can cause die-cutter system to
move wrong.
4. Only for not closing of contour, you need to set the value of
scale and Add Length parameter in the software.
Idle after file sending
1. The file may not be set properly.
2. The file is interrupted during transportation.
3. The software may be damaged or the computer has a virus
infection. Please uninstall and reinstall the program.
Registration error
1. The color difference between the black mark and the
surrounding paper is not distinctive enough
2. Mark sensor
’s sensibility is reduced by dust contamination.
3. The material ends up curling in causing malfunction of the
mark sensor.
