5-2 Software Installation

DUO-BLADE software is proprietary operating software for Duo-Blade digital die-cutting machine only. It
imports DXF, PLT file from design programs like Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw and send the data to the
machine with proper settings through USB or TCP/IP network. Learn more details about it in this chapter.

Overall.
Valloy support two programs. One is cutting software, the other is file converting program.
Two program is activate with USB dongle Lock key.

Below is common order to preparing cutting file.

1. Design your label with black Mark and cutting line in illustrator.
2. Making cutting file and save as *.ai format.
3. Convert *.ai to *.plt in our AI2PLT software.
4. Run DB-320S cutting software and open *.plt file.
5. Click cutting line and start.

Please double click ‘VALLOY DuoBlade Die-Cut Setup.exe in the CD.
(CD and USB lock key is delivered by TNT express only for the person who purchased the machine.)

You can find two softwares. One is cutting S/W and the other is converting program from *.ai to *.plt cutting
file.

Caution.

Valloy cutting S/W is running only with USB lock key. Without USB lock key, you can’t run the S/W.
