7. Connect the logger data cable to a free port in the serial port server.

8. Take note of the wiring instructions printed on the side of the galvanic isolator.

The information will be relevant when connecting wires in the intrinsically safe screw
terminals of the isolator (

step 15

9. Mount the isolator on the DIN rail.

a. Make sure the blue end of the device, with the intrinsically safe screw terminals,

faces down.

b. Rest the upper part of the locking mechanism on the DIN rail and push down firmly.

This will click the device into place.
