Event Messages Related to Missing Field
Device Data
Event messages that indicate missing field device data include:

Technical problems in the field device
-
Communication problems between the field device and the CDU
The exact format of the event message depends on the configuration of the
system. The typical event message contains sensor type and sensor
location, for example,“WIND_SENSOR_SITE1_MISSING_DATA”.
Check the communication lines to find out if the problem is in the field
device or in the communication.
NETWORK TIME PROTOCOL
(NTP) SYNCHRONIZATION
LOST
Connection to the NTP server of the local
host cannot be established, or the NTP
server has lost the connection to the primary
clock, or has a too large deviation from the
primary clock time.
SOLAR BATTERY (A/B): LOW
VOLTAGE AT LLWAS SITE X
The solar battery voltage is low.
SOLAR BATTERY (A/B):
VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT
FAILURE AT LLWAS SITE X
The voltage from solar battery cannot be
detected. Check the cables and refer to the
solar battery and transmitter documentation.
TCP/IP SERVICE: Link NNNN
failed to connect to remote host
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, port yyyy.
Reason: WSACONNREFUSED.
AviMet LLWAS TCP/IP Service failed to
connect to remote computer. The network
may be broken or the remote communication
module may not be running. NNNN is the
configured connection name,
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address, and yyy
the port number of the remote system. The
message disappears when the connection
succeeds.
UNABLE TO CONNECT TO
SERVICE CONTROL
MANAGER
The status of services cannot be examined,
because the connection to the Windows
component called Service control manager
cannot be established. This alarm indicates
either operating system level problems or
error in system configuration. Contact
Vaisala technical support.
WIND DATA MISSING
The system has received no data from wind
sensor within specified time.
