The object details panels list all the data items contained in the objects and
provide more information on them. See
The
Statuses
column indicate the statuses listed in the following table.
When applicable, a combination of statuses is displayed, for example,
"Old, Manual".

Object Details Panel: Columns
Column
Description
Name
Shows the names of the data items contained in a list. The
data item called "Location" shows the runway and the
sensor site from which the object originated.
Type
Contains programming information intended mainly for
Vaisala internal use. A data item with the type "List"
indicates the status of the whole data item list. Other types
are String, Int (Integer), and Real (real number).
Statuses
Shows the status of automatic data from sensors and
indicates if there are problems with the sensors. The
statuses correspond to the statuses in the end-user
application Weather View. See
Value
Shows the data item value, for example, a measurement. If
the status of the data item is not "Normal", the
Value
column also shows the abnormal value.
Data description
Typically not used in AWOS system, thus "Unknown".
Units text
Typically not used in AWOS system, thus "Unknown".
Units
Typically not used in AWOS system, thus "Unknown".
Statistics
Typically not used in AWOS system, thus "Unknown".
Period
Typically not used in AWOS system, thus "Unknown".

Object Details Panel: Data Item Statuses
Status
Description
Normal
Data comes from a sensor and is valid.
Manual
Data is valid, but has been entered to the system by an
observer.
Copied
Data comes from a backup sensor (also the term Backup
can be used for this status).
Old
Data has not been updated for a certain timeout period, but
it is still considered to be valid.
Missing
Data has not been updated and is considered as being
missing. Before becoming missing, data has usually status
Old for some time (the time depends on the data). Data
should not be used.
Invalid
Data is invalid or out of range, and should not be used. Can
occur because of a sensor or data line malfunction.
