Setup

Connect Power and Air Supply

1.

Ensure the power and compressed air supplies are

connected to the machine, as described in Chapter 1.

Note

: The air pressure should be set somewhere

between 80 psi, the minimum recommended air pres-
sure, and 110 psi, the maximum recommended air
pressure.

2.

Turn the machine on by pulling out the 

Power/Emer-

gency Stop

 button on the front of the controller.

Set the Controls

1.

Turn the take-up reel tension adjust knob fully counterclockwise to zero to more easily place

a new take-up reel onto the take-up spindle.

2.

Set the taping job parameters through the controller.
