11.2 Tips for Troubleshooting
Tips for correcting minor faults
Disconnect the unit from the power
supply before starting any servicing or
repair work.
Repair work should only be carried out by uwe
Customer Service or other authorized persons. No
safety devices may be removed or put out of
action. After each repair, the unit must be tested
to the corresponding national standard and the results recorded.
No safety devices may be removed or taken out of
operation.
Following each repair, the unit must be
inspected according to DIN VDE 0701 or
according to the applicable national
regulation and protocol.
• Dark areas at the lamp ends
If dark areas appear at the lamp ends, the performance of the
unit is not affected.
One or more lamps do not illuminate
1. Remove the appropriate acrylic panel.
2. Check if the lamp has been inserted correctly.
3. Every electronic ballast is operating 2 lamps. If one of the lamps is damaged the electronic
ballast power down automatically and the second lamp also don´t works. For checking which
lamp is damaged, both lamps have to be changed /checked.

The LED-RGB-bead in the screen panel or in the front covers don´t light
1. Gain access to the LED/RGB which does not function.
