Slowly turn the orbital control wheel clockwise to engage the pavement
with the pilot bit and begin the coring process. Once you have scored
the pavement, Raise the core drum Turn off the Core drum and
position the pavement protection plate under the core drum.

When the coring Drum contacts the substrate use Auxiliary Water
Hose to cool the drum until it has fully seated.

Close the door, turn on the water and drum and continue to Slowly turn
the wheel keeping the drum rotational pressure gauge from
500 to a
maximum of 750 PSI
. If you are applying too much pressure the
minicor3 will begin to lift off the ground, causing an uneven plane of
coring which will result in core drums getting stuck and damage to the
coring assembly. Drum Feed Pressure should be about 500 to 700
PSI. Too much pressure will stop the drum and result in the hydraulic
system going to bypass or begin to lift the unit off the ground. If this
occurs, back the drum up and resume cutting.
