Equipment Class
Class III Equipment: Equipment in which
protection against electrical shock relies
upon supply from SELV circuits (Safety
Transformer) and in which hazardous
voltages are not generated. Insulation and

intended for connection to the building
power supply wiring via non-industrial
plugs and sockets or via appliance cou-
plers or both.
