Double-click the
Modems
icon.
5.
Click to highlight the name of the modem you wish to
remove.
6.
Click the
Remove
button.
7.
Remove the phone cords from the modem’s TELCO (or
) and PHONE (or
) jacks.
8.
Shut down Windows.
CAUTION :
To avoid the risk of electric shock,
make sure your computer and all peripheral devices are
turned off and unplugged.
9.
Unplug the modem’s power adapter from the outlet or
power strip.
10.
Unplug the modem’s serial cable from the computer.
