Please consider your environment when you
dispose of your used batteries or accumula-
tors. They belong in a rubbish dump for haz-
ardous waste. In most cases, the batteries
can be returned to their point of sale.
Please, comply with the appropriate regulations
concerning the return, recycling and disposal of
used batteries and accumulators.
If an instrument is not used over an extended pe-
riod of time, the accumulators or batteries must
be removed. Should the instrument be contam-
inated by leaking battery cells, the instrument
has to be returned for cleaning and inspection
to the factory.

Display for Tripped Fuses
If during the measurement, the TELARIS 0100
displays the measurement data described
below, this indicates that the respective fuse has
tripped.
The fuse must be replaced and the measurement in-
strument then checked by returning the instrument
to the factory or to an authorized sales repair service.
For the "U AC/DC, f”
function, voltage display > 440 V:
the fuse F1 has tripped
Wrong display (approx 50 %):
fuse F2 has tripped
For the "Riso” function:
display >199.9 MOhm in spite of short-circuited
test leads:
Fuse F1 has tripped
0.0 MOhm display in spite of open test leads:
fuse
F2 has tripped
"Rs” and (RCD test) functions:
"Socket Error” (7) display for a socket in perfect
order:
fuse F1 or F2 has tripped
"Low Ohm” function:
display > 19,99 Ohm in spite of short-circuited test
leads:
fuse F1 has tripped
Wrong measurement value (display approx. 5-7
Ohm for short-circuited test leads):
fuse F2 has
tripped.
12.0 Calibration Interval
The instrument has to be periodically calibrated by
our service department in order to ensure the speci-
fied accuracy of the measurement results. We rec-
ommend a calibration interval of one year.
