5.4.7  Carrier gas supply 

 

 

NOTE

 

•

 

Combustion calorimeters can later be refit to carrier gas supply. Contact the 
manufacturer. 

•

 

Process gases without stable combustion properties can be mixed with a car-
rier gas. 

•

 

Non-flammable gases are automatically mixed with flammable or not flamma-
ble carrier gases by the combustion calorimeter. The carrier gas will be reck-
oned up in the combustion calorimeter. 

•

 

Carrier gases maintain the combustion and do not increase the calorific value 
of the process gas.
