That every part of the generator is cold.
-
The ashes are completely cold.
-

-
Poor cleaning impairs proper functioning and safety!
-
Failure to comply with the instructions and periods specified
in this manual will impair the correct operation of the product
and the safety of use!
6.1.1 - GENERAL INFO
For correct operation, the generator must undergo routine
maintenance by a qualified technician, at least once a year and
as often as the SERVICE signal appears.
Periodic inspections and maintenance must always be carried
out by specialised, authorised technicians working in accord-
ance with the regulations in force and the instructions given in
this operating and maintenance manual.
Every year, have the flue gas exhaust system,
including smoke ducts and Tee fittings, and
inspection plugs - if there are bends and any
horizontal sections - cleaned!
The FREQUENCY of routine generator clean-
ing IS INDICATIVE ! It depends on the quality
of the pellets used and the frequency of use.
Such operations may have to be carried out
more frequently if the rules in this manual are
not followed.
6.2 - ROUTINE CLEANING CARRIED
OUT BY THE USER
Routine cleaning operations, as set out in this operation and
maintenance manual, must be carried out with the utmost care
after reading the instructions, procedures and timetables de-
scribed.
Routine maintenance work is not covered by the product war-
ranty and is the responsibility of the user.
6.2.1 - SURFACE AND CLADDING CLEANING
Never use abrasive or chemically aggressive
cleaning agents!
The surfaces must be cleaned when the generator and clad-
ding are completely cold. For the maintenance of metal surfac-
es and parts, simply use a cloth moistened with water and well
wrung out.
Failure to follow the instructions may lead to damage to the
generator surfaces and void the warranty.
6.2.2 - CLEANING THE PELLET HOPPER
When the hopper is completely empty, disconnect the genera-
tor power cable and first remove residues (dust, shavings, etc.)
from the hopper before filling it.
When the stove is not in use, it is recommended to remove the
pellets and sawdust from the hopper in order to prevent it from
absorbing the moisture in the room.
The pellet hopper, brazier and fire door gas
-
kets ensure the proper functioning of the
stove. They must be periodically checked by
the user. If they are worn or damaged, they
must be replaced immediately.
These operations must be carried out by a
qualified technician.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the technical service department or
a similarly qualified person in order to prevent
any risk.
