5.3.4 - IGNITION AND LOGIC
IG PREHEATING
Once the points listed above have been checked, proceed with
ignition by pressing and holding button (5) on the radio control
for three seconds. During this phase, the smoke extractor and
the resistor are activated.
ATTENTION:
The command to switch the product on or off can be from:
•
radio control on/off button
•
stove management app
•
additional room thermostat
•
U-IN on/off button
•
internal programmer
PELLET LOADING
The pellet loading motor is then started up to feed the brazier.
After a few minutes, the flame is ignited and the next step is
'FLAME PRESENT'.
FLAME PRESENT
After the flue gas probe has detected the presence of the
flame, the resistor is deactivated. The next process is FLAME
STABILISATION.
FLAME STABILISATION
In these phases the stove stabilises by gradually increasing
combustion and consequently the flue gas temperature inside
it, and then concludes the ignition process with the transition to
the WORK phase.
ATTENTION:
The start of the room fan is linked
to the attainment of a well-defined flue gas tem
-
perature threshold and can therefore occur at any
stage.
WORK
In the working phase, the stove switches to the Flame Power
Set defined by the user, heating the room until the Room Set
-
ting requested by the user is reached.
BRAZIER CLEANING
During the working phase and at regular intervals, the stove
cleans the brazier by blowing.
Activation of this function is shown on the display with the cor-
responding message. During 'brazier cleaning', the pellet load-
ing is slowed down and the smoke motor that generates the
blow is increased to remove the deposited ash
Once the cleaning phase is over, the stove returns to normal
operating conditions.
ATTENTION:
this cleaning step is effective if the pellets are cer
-
tified and of high quality and if the installation has
been carried out according to the standard.
FINAL CLEANING
To switch off, press the button (5) for three seconds.
The stove automatically enters the extinction phase, blocking
the loading of pellets.
The smoke extraction motor and the hot air ventilation motor
remain switched on until the internal flue gas temperature falls
below the safety threshold.
5.4 - ROOM THERMOSTAT
The standard stove controls the room temperature by means
of a probe, the function of which is to regulate the power ac-
cording to the set temperature.
The probe is placed in the radio control, and therefore meas-
ures the temperature of the room where the radio control is
located. An external room thermostat, connected directly to the
motherboard, where the device can be placed at the most suit-
able spot, can be used at the user's discretion.
The external thermostat must be of the on/off type with cur
-
rent-free dry contact.
Contact an authorised technician and follow the instructions
below:
-
switch off the appliance using the main switch and discon
-
nect the power cable;
-
Access the motherboard by removing the cladding panels;
-
With reference to the wiring diagram (see diagram 4.8),
connect the two thermostat cables to the relevant terminals
EXT.THERM.OPT on the board;
-
reassemble it all;
-
set T-E to room setting temperature control as per proce-
dure:
SET TEMP AMB.
21°
SET TEMP AMB.
T-E
OK
RIPETUTO...
RE-IGNITION
Re-ignition of the stove is only possible if the flue gas tempera
-
ture is below a preset threshold and a minimum safety time has
elapsed since the start of the extinction process. If the request
to restart occurs while the extinction operation has not been
completed, 'COOLING STANDBY' will be shown on the display.
ATTENTION:
At a specified time, the SERVICE warning will
appear on the display, indicating the request to
perform EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE by
an authorised technician. (see chapter MAINTE-
NANCE). It is advisable to notify the technician in
good time and carry out maintenance in order to
restore the correct functions of the product and
obtain maximum output. Extraordinary mainte-
nance carried out at regular intervals and in ac-
cordance with the instructions in this manual will
protect the integrity of the product.
